Since the beginning of the war, Digitex has been involved in helping Ukraine. We donate to our neighbors equipment that is needed by the army, fire department and crisis management. In addition to already supplied computer tablets, shovels, Starlink terminal, firefighting hoses and firefighting gloves, the company provides public warning systems for civilians. These systems consist of warning sirens, which emit a loud alarm sound and voice announcement informing about the type of threat, e.g. attack from the air or the risk of mines in the area.
Digitex sirens have already been used in Lutsk, Khmelnytsky, Kiev, Mariupol, Zaporizhzhya, Vinnitsa and the Odessa region.
Despite the great difficulties resulting from the threat, a few days ago we’ve managed to deliver to Kharkiv 2 sets of new DSE series warning sirens together with DCA-4000 control panel and additional DPS-4000 control panel. Devices can be relocated to a new location if necessary. The entire system communicates remotely using digital radio communication, without the need for external communication infrastructure, which is currently heavily overused and unreliable.
It is hoped that the system will serve the city for as long as possible and provide residents with safety and time to minimize the possible effects of an emergency.
Ukraine – Kharkiv
As mentioned earlier, sirens can emit any type of sound. Recently the anthem of Ukraine could be heard throughout the Kharkiv city. The anthem was emitted by 900 W DSE sirens as an expression of solidarity with the Ukrainian people.
