An exciting week is behind us. After the Baltic Business Forum we went to Switzerland for the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) is an international forum on the world’s economies. The WEF is a meeting of politicians, businessmen and academics that seeks to develop international agreements.
In Davos, Switzerland, a panel discussion was held with the Presidents of Poland – Andrzej Duda, Latvia – Egils Levits and Estonia – Alar Karis.
The theme of this year’s edition was “History at a turning point – government policies and business strategies”. The forum focused on the war in Ukraine and the involvement of business in relief efforts – both humanitarian aid and long-term strategic support and assistance in rebuilding Ukraine.
During our stay in beautiful Switzerland, we had the opportunity to take part in interesting discussions and debates on effective ways of helping Ukraine and rebuilding the economy after the pandemic, combating climate change, the future of the labour market and advanced technologies.
The Davos summit was the perfect conclusion of the recent business trips for us, thanks to which we had the opportunity to meet wonderful people and exchange experiences concerning the support for Ukraine as well as to present solutions for civil security.
